Developing Photochemical Methods in Flow
Despite the potential to achieve novel and interesting chemical transformations through highly reactive photo-excited substrates, photochemistry still remains largely underutilized by the organic chemistry community. One reason for this is the difficulty in achieving sufficient control of wavelength, UV penetration, and reaction temperature in photochemical reactions. This presentation will highlight photochemistry in flow to overcome many of these issues.
